Pricing varies based upon your needs. Session fees start at $99. Add edited images, signature prints, wall art, folio boxes and more as you desire. On average, guests spend about $500 for custom portraiture.
Available sessions vary. Most scheduled shoots are on weekday evenings or weekends. We will do our best to make accomodations for other times, but please plan ahead! The average session is 1-2 hours in length. Head shots may be significantly quicker while special projects may be considerably longer. On average, we schedule sessions one month in advance.
In our residential studio or on location. If you have a specific location in mind, we would love to know! Please keep travel expenses in mind if going far afield.
I enjoy working with qualified Hair and Make-Up Artists (H/MUAs). Their work is valuable in helping you look your best! A quality H/MUA professional will require additional payment, so please budget for this option. We highly recommend their services as it can take a great photo session and make it even better!
The Oklahoma State Board of Cosmetology and Barbering licenses and regulates a number of service professions from haircutting to make-up application. QuestionMark Photography recognizes and respects the work necessary to meet those requirements. If an H/MUA is to be involved during the session, we ask that they be properly licensed.
We meet at the time and place agreed upon. We will take care of any paperwork, including payment, first to avoid distractions later. Then, we work together to create photographs you will love for the allotted time. On occasion, I will give you a chance to review a few images to show you how great you look and to let you know that all is well.
Unless they are an active part of the session, I would discourage bringing anyone with you. Experience shows that they may become a distraction. If you feel uncomfortable, it will show in your pictures. It will also show if you are continuously interacting with your companion during the shoot. Be mindful of who you might bring and why you want them there. Ultimately, you are hiring me to do a job and the decision is yours to make.
I will upload and back up all the images captured for safe keeping. I will then cull the images down to the best of the best (20-40 shots for a 1-2 hour session). You will then have an opportunity to review your images and make final selections.
I would love to have you visit my office where we can review your images together. This allows you to view your images on a large, color-calibrated monitor and compare favorites side-by-side. I can also make your proofs available online where you can mark your favorites. Please note that the proofs will be considerably smaller, it will be difficult to do a side-by-side comparison, and your time to review will be limited.
Proofs will be available for viewing within two weeks of your session. Final edits of your selections will then be completed and any physical products ordered. From shoot to final delivery, expect no more than 30 days. If you select quickly, it is quite possible to have edits done 24-48 hours after your session and any products delivered within a week. I want to deliver your final product while you are still excited about our session, so I do my part as efficiently as possible without sacrificing quality.
We offer a variety of physical prints from traditional paper to amazing metals. We also have digital options that cover social media sharing to custom electronic galleries. Please visit our product menu for more information or make an appointment to visit our residential studio to view samples.
I do limited graphic design work. Each Fall, I work with some of my favorite clients to create unique holiday cards for their families. I occasionally work with my clients to help create business cards and other marketing materials for their personal business ventures as well. Please feel free to inquire about your next project!
I am constantly reviewing the products I offer to make sure I can bring the very best to you. I am currently using eight vendors, most specializing in a few key products. In most cases, I have personally met my vendors and have developed a good, working relationship. They want to give you their best, too. These are the same products I use in my own home and I will be happy to give you the chance to inspect a sample.
In Oklahoma, most photographic services and products are taxable, including any session fee. As a registered business, we are required to remit sales tax to the city, county, and state as defined by the Oklahoma Tax Commission. Digital images delivered as a physical product (i.e. CD or USB) will include sales tax as required by the tax commission. Prices do not include sales tax.
